Jack Russell Terriers are small dogs with enormous personality — fearless, energetic, and fiercely independent. Originally bred for fox hunting, they have a high prey drive and boundless energy that belies their size. Otto is a Jack Russell Terrier aged 7 years currently in the care of Dogs Trust in Salisbury (Wiltshire). Jack Russells are common in rescue — they live 13–16 years and owners often underestimate the long-term commitment.
