Fran

Fran is a gorgeous 4-year-7-month-old Staffie cross with a soft, affectionate nature and a real love of being close to her people. She’s the sort of dog who thrives on companionship, happiest curled up near you, soaking up fuss and leaning into those belly rubs. At home, Fran settles beautifully and is perfectly content relaxing in her bed, especially if she can find a sunny spot to snooze in. Fran loves her sniffy walks. She’s very engaged with the world through her nose and enjoys taking her time exploring scents, making her a lovely companion for calmer, nature strolls. She’s also playful in the best way: Fran loves squeaky toys and her ball, and she’ll happily carry it around the garden like it’s her prized possession. Fran is clean in the house and can be left for short periods settling comfortably, which is a great sign for someone looking for a dog who can relax when needed. Fran has a particular interest in toast, and she will absolutely keep a close eye on breakfast if given the chance. With other dogs, Fran is generally calm at a distance, though can lack confidence when meeting new doggy friends. Because of this, Fran would love to be the only pet in the home, where she can fully relax and have all the attention to herself, but she can enjoy lead walks with polite, calm dogs. Fran is looking for a home with secondary school-aged children and a private garden for pottering, play, and sunny lounging.
