Miracle

🐕 MixedPuppyAge unknownManchester, Greater Manchester
Miracle is a sweet, shy, and sensitive girl who is full of love. Once she builds trust, she blossoms into an affectionate and loyal companion who adores gentle cuddles and calm company. Before Miracle was rescued, she had been hit by a car and sadly her leg never fully healed following the accident. Despite multiple surgeries and ongoing treatment, it eventually became clear that the kindest and best decision for her long-term comfort was to proceed with amputation. Miracle has now had her leg removed and is currently adapting to life as a tripaw. True to her name, she has been incredibly brave and resilient throughout it all. Having three legs certainly doesn’t hold her back, and she’s already showing just how determined and full of life she is. She will remain in foster while she continues to recover from surgery, and once she is fully healed, she will return to the rescue to continue her search for a forever home. Most importantly, Miracle is now finally pain free and no longer restricted by boots, buster collars, or prolonged periods of rest. We truly believe this next chapter will give her the freedom and quality of life she has always deserved. Despite everything she has been through, Miracle remains a happy girl who loves her walks and enjoys her little giddy, zoomie moments. In the home, Miracle is the perfect house guest. She much prefers a quiet, chilled-out lifestyle and isn’t suited to a busy or overly active environment. She can be wary of new people initially and may show reactive behaviour when strangers enter the home. She will need patient, gradual introductions and a family willing to support her as she gains confidence. Miracle is generally independent and enjoys taking herself off for naps during the day. She copes well when left alone and has no issues with destruction or toileting accidents. Miracle walks beautifully on the lead, but she can display defensive reactivity towards other dogs when out and about. With slow introductions she has shown us that she can enjoy the company of other dogs and will engage in play once she feels safe. She has lived with a male dog before, so she could live with a compatible, calm dog if introductions are done gradually. She has previously lived with a cat, but did display some resource guarding around food so a home without cats would be best. Miracle has so much love to give and just wants someone to help her feel safe, she really will give her whole heart to you. If you have a quiet, patient home and the dedication to help a gentle soul finally find the stability she deserves, Miracle may be the perfect match.
