Jacob

Jacob is a delightful and bouncy dog based at our Old Windsor Centre. Jacob loves to play with toys, he enjoys chasing tennis balls and tug games with his favourite people. He has shown to be energetic and can become over excited in different situations. He isn't always aware of his own size and has a boisterous side. He is looking for owners who are comfortable with, and used to dogs of his size who can be excitable. He has been excitable when meeting new people out and about, he makes friends with treats. In his previous home he would bark when someone knocked at the door but was then very friendly and goofy when they came into the house. Due to being a larger breed and his bouncy side, he will need a private and secure garden to help burn his energy and for him to have his own secure space to explore and continue his training. He is worried about being left on his own so this will be an area that his owners will need to work on gradually. He loves food and puzzle feeders, these are brilliant things to use for starting to help him to be independent at home. Jacob has been friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has shown to be respectful and playful, but does like a chase game. We feel Jacob could live with another dog of similar size that will enjoy his bouncy playstyle and also show Jacob the ropes with calmer interactions. Jacob is a super dog with a wonderful character who has so much to bring to his new home.
