Harley

Harley is a 3 year old male Terrier Cross-Breed with a huge personality and a serious love for life. This little chap is always ready for his next adventure and brings bundles of fun wherever he goes. Harley adores people. He might start off a little bouncy or slightly unsure when meeting new faces, but give him a moment and he will be soaking up all the cuddles and belly rubs. He is a total softie once he knows you are his friend. He is looking for active humans who enjoy getting outdoors just as much as he does. Harley loves zooming about, sniffing everything in sight, and enjoying long strolls. He currently enjoys three walks a day and is perfectly happy to snooze, play with toys, and then curl up for a cosy sofa evening afterwards. This clever boy already has some great training under his belt and is busy learning some tricks with his foster family. He will thrive in a home that enjoys keeping his brain busy as well as his legs. He walks well on lead, is clean in the house, sleeps through the night, and is very food motivated. He will happily show off his skills for a tasty treat. Car journeys are still a work in progress for Harley, but he is getting there. His foster family are crate training him and building things up slowly, and they will pass on their tips to help him continue progressing. Harley is friendly with other dogs on walks, though he can be a bit over-excited and occasionally forget his manners on first meetings. He listens well and can walk and play nicely, and could live with another dog after successful introductions, or be just as happy being the centre of attention as the only dog. He has been left for a few hours and does well as long as he has had a walk and has toys to keep him busy. This will just need to be gently built up in his new home. Harley could live with dog-savvy children aged 10 years and over who can keep up with an energetic terrier. Loud noises can worry him at times, so a calmer home would suit him best. A cat-free home is required. Harley is a joyful, loving, fun-filled boy who will make a fantastic companion for the right home.
